We are Angels to Ashes (ATA) hailing from central New Hampshire. If you were to label us, it'd probably be somewhere
along the lines of a Metal/Hardcore scene. The band started out of spite really, both Thaddeus and Seth had been ousted
from there bands because of "apparent" personality conflictions. Knowing this Thaddeus decided to pursue the creation
of a new band that would bring something a little different to the table. The drums were where he'd be with this band,
no longer worrying about creative licensing with the other band members but still be there to influence the others.
Seth met Thaddeus and together they searched for a singer and bassist. Thaddeus knew of an individual who was having
a hard time getting his own band on their feet so he asked him (Kris) if he'd be interested and Kris was and decided to bring
Gabe Gilman to the scene to complete the sound with his mean warlock bass. So the band was togther and had their first
show in March at the Meredith Grange along with Supplication the newly reformed band since Thaddeus' oust with all grievances
set aside, everybody was again getting along. The show was a hit with only a week's notice to the audience. After
that it was decided that an experiment with a second guitarist should be conducted. Seth brought in Dan, yet Dan lacked
motivation and really wasn't interested in going anywhere with the band so he was kicked to the curb. Then sadly, Gabe
no longer wanted in the band as well. His lack of motivation as well provoked the band to search else where for a bassist.
Again Seth managed to find a kid who could play who had been in another band which had been unsuccessful due to the fact that
the guitarist always worked. Soon we decided we wanted 2 guitarist,therefore Evan was moved up to play
guitar along Seth's side,and soon after we found our new Bassist Keith. Keith was a short story (he didnt think he could do
it.) Therefore the band is as it is now, incomplete but still very much a whole. Currently roles have been switched
around with Kris down in FLorida, Thaddeus is once again left to do vocals and new drummer CJ has entered the group.
Angels to Ashes is growing still while finding it hard to practice but pulling it all together for the show. The sound
is a little different now, leaning away from straight metal into more melodic yet still very heavy metalcore.
