March 13th, 2005 Well we've been practicing
more and more now, we just recorded a demo of our new songs, hopefully it won't sound like shit, personally I think it came
out alright it could've been better but we'll see. I've been pondering about our name, because there is another band
that has a very similar one and we can't have that. If anyone has any ideas let us know, feedbacks always awesome, helps us
get better. Well Kris is coming back for Thanksgiving and Christmas so we'll have a couple of show with him when he
gets back. The bands always changing, the sound the people, everything, we're just trying ta keep it all in check...I
don't know. Well that's it.
February 2nd, 2005 The show on the
29th of January was incredible, by far the most successful show yet. Thanks to all the bands that showed up you guys
were awesome. For those of you that missed it there were 6 bands in total, Solemn Vow, Never Say
Never, Supplication, Torture, Bite the Bullet, and Angels to Ashes. We hope to play
alongside you guys soon.
January 24th, 2005 Hi, everyone we've been
busy the last few months not with the band but with school and work. Our last show in December was a blast, thanks for
all the support once again. We recently lost Kris, he's down in Florida and pursuing a little education down there.
But he's still very much a part of the band and will be coming back. For now Thaddeus (until he goes to flight school)
will take his place as lead vocals for a little while, and CJ will be our new addition filling in on drums. Seth and
Evan are in school still. And we have a show this Saturday. We hope to see you there.
November 1st, 2004 Thanks once again for
the support last night, as far as we're concerned the show was well done. Thanks go out to Supplication, Never say Never,
and Cavity Search, you guys were awesome. (Malignant Discord, you guys should've stayed longer, but still a good show.)
September 25th, 2004 Right now we're looking
for a new bass player, again. Thaddeus might have found a kid who could fit in with the band. The kid is incredible
and we hope he decides to join.
September 12th, 2004 A big shout out goes
to all the people who could make it last night. Your support was greatly appreciated and we're glad you could all come
and see us do what we love. You guys were awesome and the pit was wicked pissah! Oh yeah we've decided to re-record
our material because the demo we made was unsatisfactory in quality. This new release will have 11 songs and 0 screw-ups.
So stay in touch and be ready for that to come out sometime fall of this year.
September 5th, 2004 Today we had a very
productive practice we have a show coming on september 11th (next saturday) We have 10 songs 2 brand spankin motha truckin
new ones. We have not updated this in awhile so hey why not.
July 17th, 2004 Well its been awhile since
this has been updated. We no longer have a bassist due to his lack of motivation and no shows to practice. We just had a show
at the music clinic in laconia. The crowd could have been better but all in all it was good.
June 2nd, 2004 Today we had a bassist
try out. it went good, he kept up and learnd the songs fast so are new bassist is now Anthony Gavell. We also came up with
a new song called Death, its a sequal to the song Life
May 18th, 2004. Well, you've probably
been wondering what we've been up to the past couple of weeks (or not). Well, to tell you the truth, practicing all
of our songs and writing new ones since we're recording in an actual studio down in Manchester the 29th of this month.
We've been busy getting our act together, as we've probably said before, but this is for real, no gimmicks or anything.
Therefore if you would like a copy of our up and coming first demo/album email us at angeltoashes@hotmail.com or wait until we get our numbers posted so you can contact us directly. Thank-you, and be sure to be ready this summer
for our next show (metal fest 2004 @ an undisclosed location pending band participation).
April 30th, 2004.
ATA had practice today and it was really productive, we perfected our songs to be put on the demo. However, Erik (bassist
from Supplication) was not able to bring over his recording equipment so we are still short one quality demo. Oh well,
Thaddeus managed to hurt himself during practice by smashing his stick into his eye, ouch. That's when practice ended
because he couldn't see for the next half hour out of his right eye.
April 20th, 2004. We are recording a sampler demo to test the atmosphere and recording equipment
April 30th. We will be having shows all summer long so keep in touch for posts on our site and Supplication (in our
links page). The band is dynamic has changed a little and we've started to buckle down more on practices, songs are
becoming heavier and more melodic at the same time with the drummer (Thaddeus) trying out some more melodic vocals to round
out the bands sound. All in all the music is becoming more intricate and the the work ethic of the band has become overall
more motivated to be successful, you'll be impressed when we're done.
April 9th, 2004. The night before the big show. Myself (Seth), Thad, Kris, and Supplication
are going to see Slipknot, Fear Factory, and Chimaira. It's going to be a kick ass show, we've
got NO-DOZ and Rock-Star, we're all set for the long trip to Worcester it's going to be crazy.
March 5th, 2004. It was the night of our first show, and it rocked. Alot of people showed up before
the show even started. Our show kicked ass, inspite of the fact that there was a battle of the bands and our show was on only
a weeks notice we still managed to get about 100 people to show up and they were aweseome. Supplication kicked ass as well,
pits were had, windows were broken and everything rocked. Thanks go out to all those who showed we love you all for the support.
If you missed the show stay tuned this summer, we've got other venues and more bands its going to be a local metal fest!
February 7th, 2004. It was just the band on a night out tonight. We decided to fore-go practice
and mess around at Funspot. It was a good time, but we never seemed to have the band all in one spot ever, there
were always three looking for the one other one missing. But then we went bowling. Gabe was screwing around with
Thaddeus throwing the balls down so he messed up his score, but I guess it didn't matter because he ended up winning.
Then we went to McDonald's and ordered Whopper's, that's right Whoppers. We ate brought Seth home because his dad was
getting psycho and we all headed home to go to sleep. It was a wicked fun night, you should've been there.
February 4th, 2004. Another day, another dollar or maybe just another practice. We had a
practice and Seth had like 4 of his friends over, including our photographer who cut his hand. And this other kid his
name unknown tried piercing his eyebrow with a huge ass safety pin. Needless to say it didn't work and he just ended
up with a bloody mess all over his face. Practice went well, Erik from Supplication came
over and liked the band, impressed with our improvement apparently which is always good. Thaddeus got two new pairs
of sticks because he was playing with mis-matched sticks but he still managed to break 3 sticks. We went to McDonald's
and Chris got a straw wrapper stuck in his nose, and we were screwing around in the parking lot doing donuts and throwing
ice chunks at each other.
January 30th, 2004. Friday Night! Thaddeus' girlfriend came with him today, he was late
but whatever. We have a photographer now, he took pictures of the entire practice and some of them have been posted
on the site. We got the endings of those songs down and we wrote a third song. We used the strobe again, and like
before it messed us over but it was so worth it. We went to McDonald's to go in the play pen but they wouldn't let us
because little kids were in it. Dammit! Well that killed that, so we got free food and Thaddeus stole Seth's mozarella
sticks, I guess they were good. Oh, and Thaddeus got sweet and sour all over his girlfriends skirt...that was good for
a laugh.
January 28th, 2004. Gabe actually came to practice today, the band was finally whole today.
It was pretty much the same stuff as last week, but just the band, no visitors. We fixed up the songs from last week
and added Gabe in the mix so we have all the parts now, but the endings could use some work but hey, we're still practicing.
We used the strobe light that Seth had today, it was wicked trippy, but it was awesome looking and we all got screwed up.
January 21st, 2004. Finally, the band has come together for our first practice. We were
missing our bassist Gabe today, had some school work to do apparently and failed to tell us. Oh well, we still had a
good time. Seth's girlfriend and his friend Russel were at practice. We wrote two songs right off the bat and
they were pretty damn good for our very first day. We were all psyched and all hopeful for the future. The funniest
thing happened, Thaddeus was getting a little crazy so he decided to jump off the stairs of Seth's garage, however he didn't
see the gargage door railing was really low and he smashed his face right into it. Everyone cracked up laughing it was
hilarious when he flopped on the floor and started laughing out of painl.
